My Practice
Telepsychology
I offer telepsychology services (i.e., telehealth) for children, adolescents, and their parents. Individual telehealth therapy includes one-on-one, parent, and parent-child sessions. All therapy services are conducted virtually through a secure and encrypted online platform, developed and based in North Vancouver, Canada.
I am currently accepting referrals for intervention services. I am not accepting referrals for psychoeducational or psychodiagnostic assessment services.
Therapy Approach
During the first sessions, we will work together to assess your specific concerns, develop treatment goals, and create a treatment plan. This typically includes both conversation and questionnaires about how your child thinks, feels, and acts. The treatment plan will include an estimated length of treatment, which will depend on your child’s specific needs and the response to the treatment. Throughout the treatment plan, the treatment plan will include parental involvement in child sessions as well as parent-only sessions (depending on the age of the child or adolescent) to optimize outcomes.

- Anxiety, including phobias, social anxiety, and OCD

Confidentiality
All information shared during sessions by parents and children is confidential, with a few exceptions to ensure safety of yourself and others. These limits will be discussed during the first session. We will also discuss how sessions will be structured and what information will be shared with parents or kept private for the youth to ensure youth feel safe and comfortable in their therapeutic environment, while ensuring parents are aware of important information.
I may also ask for consent to share or receive information with other relevant healthcare providers, such as family physicians, or school teachers.
Fees
I charge the rate recommended by the British Columbia Psychological Association, which is $225 per 50-minute therapy session. I similarly charge $225/hour for related services (e.g., phone consultation, third party consultations, report/letter writing). Payment is due at the end of each session. Debit and all major credit cards are accepted.

Extended healthcare plans commonly offer some coverage for services provided by a Registered Psychologist. You will receive a receipt for each service to submit for reimbursement from your insurance provider. Direct billing is not available. Please contact your insurance provider to discuss your coverage.
